13.52mm Toughened Laminated Clear Glass

Toughened laminate glass is a form of safety glass and is made up of two or more layers of glass bonded together with an interlayer, creating a strong and durable composite.

The key characteristic of toughened laminate glass is its safety feature. Unlike regular glass, which shatters into sharp and dangerous pieces when broken, toughened laminate glass is designed to remain intact upon impact. When broken, the glass fragments stick to the interlayer, preventing them from causing severe injuries.

This makes the product ideal for balustrades and other overhead applications where falling glass poses a real hazard.

All of our toughened laminate comes with an SGP interlayer and polished edges as standard.
